THE GREEN SOFA
A quiet corner for books, coffee, and watching Newcastle pass by.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARGARET JOBSON
The Green Sofa is a quiet, homely reading corner beside the window at Yasmina Café. It is dedicated to the memory of Lord Richard MacLeod’s late mother-in-law, Margaret Jobson, and created as a place where people can sit comfortably, enjoy a book or a cup of coffee, and watch the world go by.
Margaret loved a warm living-room — the sort of room where the kettle is always on, a book is always half-read, and there is always time for one more chapter. We hope this corner carries a little of that spirit into every visit.
“A place to sit, read and watch the world go by.”
